| Sociology Department Strikes again! Congratulations Megan Seely on Professor of the Year!  UPCOMING EVENTS FOR SOCIOLOGY CLUB TAKE BACK OURSELVES! April 29, 2010 12:30-5 Sierra College Helping Haiti  We have amazing Students at Sierra College! We all know this, and because, we have such an amazing student population, the Sociology Club, with the cooperation of the Sierra College Honor Society, have established a website where Sierra College student, staff and family members can donate to help in the relief efforts in Haiti. Partners in Health is an organization geared toward helping with healthcare needs. Many large universities have set up competitions through Partners in Health (UC Berkeley and Standford are battling over who can raise the most money), and we will be challenging ARC, Folsom Lake, Sac City and Cosumnes to some friendly competition for a good cause. So please visit the site and donate what you can to help at this very important time. Our Goal is $10,000! (If every student donated just a dollar we would blow this goal out of the water, especially if we get our family, friends and staff to join us in our efforts) Please Pass this on!!
